Wow - this place is amazing. A friend suggested that we stay in Olde City since it was convenient and very safe...I'm so glad we took his advise. The hotel is conveniently located right on Independence Park and is as luxurious as you'd expect from an Omni hotel. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Many hotels in the Center City/downtown area can be a bit seedy at night, even though they may look okay during the day, but hotels in Olde City are great at any time since they are very safe and the area is clean and pristine. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Philly for business or pleasure. While this hotel can be expensive, it's worth the money since you are staying in 5-star excellence and in a very nice neighborhood.

Everything about the hotel was great. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The sink was outside the bath/toilet area and that works really well. The staff was great and was very helpful when we needed help getting to the Phillies game. There can't be a better location for visiting Independence Hall and Park! It is literally one block away.

I recently had a weekend away with my husband in Philadelphia. The Omni hotel was in the perfect location for seeing all of the sites in Philly! The rooms were great, beds comfortable, staff nice, etc! I would stay at this hotel again. Hotel bar is definitely happening on the weekends with wedding parties. Drinks and service there were great. We loved the male bartender who worked Friday night and Sunday afternoon. We didn’t eat at the hotel, but staff recommended some great restaurants nearby (Mercato was the best!!!). I have found Omni hotels provide consistent quality and great service, and the Omni in Philadelphia lived up to this standard!

We were a bit disappointed when the boutique hotels were all booked and we were left with the Omni as our best alternative. Now we see how lucky we were. We had a large spacious room with the best of Philadelphia right outside our door. The service was friendly and helpful, as well. We will now be disappointed in future visits if the Omni is NOT available.

I booked this hotel based on other reviews and the location. The decor in the hotel was very nice. The front desk was very accommodating when I wanted to change from a king bed to 2 queens. The room was mostly clean, but there was something sticky on the carpet. Also, our air conditioning did not work. We called and a maintenance guy came and flipped a switch and said it was fixed. It worked temporarily, but was hot in the room all night. The next day we had another maintenance guy come and he replaced the compressor. After that the air was fine. We were also given a key to the mini bar and upon checkout we were incorrectly charged for consuming beverages. I guess the cleaning lady had a party while we were out. The front desk did remove the charges.
On the positive side, the location is great and there is a parking garage attached to the hotel and it is easy to self park. The room was a good size with a very nice bathroom.
Overall, the hotel was not bad, but could have been a little better on maintenance.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Independence park, one block from the Liberty Bell. Old and Grandeur discribe this hotel with very attentive staff. The rooms are large and accommodating, the bed beautiful and very comfortable. It was a little pricey but overall worth it considering the location and level of service

The service was excellent. Bellman was knowledgable and helpful with parking and sightseeing/dining. Room was clean and luxurious with a great view of the park and river. Housekeeping was a little off as we didn't have any bathtowels in our room and the window was open when we arrived. Not a big deal. The stocked in room refridgerator was nice since the lounge was closed for a wedding party. Some say the restaraunt is expensive, but we found things for reasonable prices. We had a burger and chicken salad for $35 including tip and room service fees, and oatmeal and granola/yogurt for breakfast with coffee and juice for about $20 dollars (room service again). However, an omelet is $18 so you have to order carefully unless you don't have to watch your money. Overall, we had a very nice stay and everyone we came into contact with was pleasant and helpful.
