“Wonderful Location and Helpful Staff!”
Reviewed September 1, 2014

A four night stay at the Omni to check out the sites of Philly with my daughter, this old style hotel was perfect. The location was ideal and we were on the 12th floor with wonderful views of Independence Park and the Franklin Bridge. The staff from check in until we left were friendly, and couldnt be more helpful. Sue at the bar was delightful and had my daughter tasting a variety of unusual and wonderfully mixed cocktails. The room was large and airy with a king size bed, sofa, desk, T.V and mini bar, the bathroom was large and clean. The only strange thing was the coffee maker was set out in the bathroom ( this was explained when it spluttered water everywhere). A perfectly located hotel to see all the sites of Philly, two minutes to the visitor centre, big bus tours, Liberty Bell and walking distance from Reading Terminal Market (a must see, eat, shop). A wonderful, comfortable hotel. Didnt use the swimming pool or spa facility as every day was too full of adventures to complete.

Room Tip: Room 1206 overlooking Independence Park (request view on booking)

From front desk, to bellman, concierge and valet service, this hotel is top notch. Excellent location to historic sites, restaurants and bars. Room clean and comfortable- we had a room with a view. Would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I have an 8 year old daughter and 1 year old triplets and we have never traveled together as a whole since the triplets were born last year until we stayed here in July. We came for the 4th of July weekend checking in Friday and set to checkout Sunday. Not knowing how the girls would do in a hotel room away from home, we gave it a go. Hotel accommodated us with a large room and an extra portable crib and were courteous every step of the way. Due to the craziness of the triplets the mini trip became too much so we decided to leave Saturday morning. As we checked out the young lady at the desk said she had us for another night and I told her as to why we were departing early and that I understood if we were charged the full rate for both nights because we had bitten off more than we can chew with the girls being on the road. We exchanged a thank you and good bye and my family and I checked out. After a few days I happened to notice the hotel did not charge us for the 2nd night. I was taken back because they did not have to nor did I ask them to do so. It's rare to find any hospitality or compassion these days and to find it at really nice hotel in the middle of a great area of great city was amazing. Though we did not get to stay the full length I can assure you will stay with them again.

Lovely hotel. The rooms were great with terrific views. The pool was a nice feature after a day of site seeing. The location is close to many fine restaurants and all of the major sites in Philadelphia.

The Omni hotel Philadelphia was a really elegant and classy hotel in Independence park. I stayed with my family. There were about 15 floors. We stayed on the 6th floor and our room was right at the end of the hall. So when we walked in we literally walked a small little hall. When we passed the hall our room was really nice. We had a large king bed and a sofa bed. Our view was of the Museum of Independence,Independence park and some buildings. All in all you would enjoy your stay at Omni no matter how long you stay there.

Well located luxury hotel in the middle of many of Philadelphia's historical sites. numerous nearby restaurants complement hotel offerings. Park the car and walk! Rooms are quite large and bathrooms also spacious.

Wonderful stay at the Omni; huge immaculate room with great views and very quiet for a city. Great location at all historic sites. Staff were fantastic and great free morning coffee for my trip made for a great stay. Hotel didn't have perfume to cover up musky smell like so many others--just naturally fresh and clean.
