Nice hotel with a very friendly staff.Clean rooms. Good breakfast, even got a treat on my birthday! Close to Independance Hall and the Liberty Bell. During our four week vacation in the USA we had to sleep on a lot of different beds but the ones at Omni were the best! Too bad we only got to stay one night....

Our one night stay was lovely...a great corner room with awesome views of liberty park. Comfy bed, clean and well appointed room. The old world look, but still keeping up with updates (nice tv, bathroom). Only one complaint...the fitness room, it was nice, but the TV system did not work. You could not tune them to your equipment( even though they had the hook ups) so everyone had to listen to the today show, ugh! Also if you are staying for more than one night look for other parking, $37/night is a bit much for valet. Would stay again, just plan differently for parking and exercise. Excellent stay

We stayed for 7 nights over the July 4th Indepedence week. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to the key historic sites and the lovely Society Hill & Old City districts. Definitely a tourist rather than business hotel.
The hotel was clean, well managed & staffed with helpful and pleasant people. Our room was spacious and well maintained but slightly dated (if modern is your thing). Again bathroom was very acceptable but dated.
The restaurant and bar were pleasant and had good & attentive service.
Overall the hotel meet all our needs and expectations and was great value.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the park ie the front

The reason we booked this hotel was it is close to independence park. We only had half day in Philadelphia.

We booked 2 queen beds room, since we have 2 kids. But when I checked it, I was told that only can give us a king and pull out bed. We insisted to have 2 queen beds. We finally got the room with 2 beds after 10 minutes.

The staff was nice though.

The hotel is very old. When we stepped out of elevator. I felt like in the movie of shining. My kids said this hotel was creepy. The ceiling is low.

When it was time for bed, I realized how thin the wall and door were.

In the bathroom, I was able to hear our neighbor's flushing and shower. We was able to hear their conversion. Finally my kids and I went to sleep after 11:30 (our neighbor was also). I was still able to hear elevator's ding sound, though our room was not close to the elevator. I could not image how people can stay in the rooms that close to elevator.

At about 1:00, there were large noise from hall way. Apparently a group of people just from party. All of us got woke up. After more than 30 minutes loud talkind and music. I had to call front desk report this issue. Again the staff was nice and polite, apologized for this situation, and said they would do something to it. After a while, it was a bit better, but still noisy. It was over 2:00AM. Finally we fall asleep again. But at 6:00AM, we woked up by neighbor's door. This hotel doors are loud, there is no door closer to make door close slower and quiter. You have to be very careful to close door and do not make loud noise.

Forgot to mention, the hotel close to street, and the deivers at Philadelphia love to honk! Guess what, the windows are not noise reducing also!

The restaurant in hotel is pricy and limited choice also.

Over all, this hotel is old and pricy. If you want to get a place to sleep at night, this definitely not the hotel for you.

Room Tip: avoid room close to elevator!

Nice staff, good service. Milk and cookies for kids at night were a nice touch, wish they were more explicit with their parking policies upfront, the one day parking at the hotel was close to $40 at the end.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Location is perfect as it is within walking distance to most attractions near Penns landing. We did not receive a special 4th of July rate of 128 per night, that is a little upsetting. We paid much more per night.

I reserved two rooms under a AAA rate. One room was for my family and one was for another family that we were traveling with. Our room AC was broken for 2 of the three nights that we stayed there. The room was consistently about 78 degrees at night. At one point during the day it was 85 degrees. We had a corner room and outside was in the 90s. We complained 4 times. It was finally fixed the last night of our stay. Maintenance left extra parts on the desk nearby.

The toiletries were not replenished despite leaving notes to housekeeping with a tip. The third night, I had to run down to the front desk at 11 PM because my daughter was screaming out of the shower that she had run out of shampoo.

I gave feedback to their online service, Medallia, and they responded with a credit to the other family's credit card. Although the 1-800 Customer Service was helpful, they had difficulty telling me how much was credited and they put me in the extremely uncomfortable position of having to ask the other family for money that Omni erroneously gave to them. Thanks for nothing!

The highlight of this hotel was the Valets. They were polite, friendly, and genuinely cared. They talked to us more than the front desk and greeted us going in and out of the hotel. They told us about the Kid's services and interacted great with the kids. As per Omni's hold message, one interaction can make a guest's stay. The Valets were top notch. I just wish the rest of the hotel organization met the same standard.

Room Tip: Definitely use the valet service for parking your car. Although it costs a little more than self-pa...
