“Great Location For The History Of Philadelphia”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

I visited this hotel in November and am a little late in writing my review. The hotel was nice and clear. No complaints in that area. As a home base to explore the historical sites in Philly, I think that this hotel may be one of the very best. The hotel is in the neighborhood with Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Constitution Museum, Benjamin Franklin cemetery, Besty Ross house, etc. You can easily explore these sites from this base.

Room Tip: The hotel location is excellent for exploring American History, but it is a little far away from bus...

This hotel represents very good value for money. The location and service are both very good. Rooms are large but amenities are standard. Bathrooms are spacious although nothing special. Beds are very comfortable. Biggest complaint would be that the selection of television channels is way too limited. Room service was average. Bottom line is that the hotel is nice and is a perfectly fine choice for a stay in downtown Philadelphia.

Stayed at the Omni on business trip. Great atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, warm and cosy rooms - quiet and comfortable.
Great break-fast and many choises from the menu. Hotel is situated in the heart of the old-town and excellent for sight-seeing. Within close proximity many good restaurants

My family and I just recently stayed at this hotel for one night for a quick getaway to Philadelphia. The hotel was centrally located and easy to find. All of the staff were kind and eager to help in any way that they could. The valet outside greeted my children and let them know that they could call down to the front desk later tonight and ask for milk and cookies. They loved that and the cookies were yummy. When we checked in the kids were also gDon't expect a large pool. It is really only for doing laps and it was a bit chilly. The hot tub was almost too hot, but nice. The room we had was very spacious, more so than other hotels. THe valet parking was a little pricey- $37.00 and the lot was pretty close by so you could really park yourself. I would definitely stay here again.

We picked this location because of its convenience. You can't beat it. As far as the room is concerned, the flat screen TV didn't have a great picture, and the NBC station was silent during some shows...very annoying when you wanted to watch NBC. The king-sized bed was comfortable. The pull-out for the kids wasn't. The staff was VERY nice and accommodating.

If you want to stay literally down the block from Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and the Constitution Center, this is the best hotel in the area but is not as convenient for business travelers heading to the Center City district. Service and amenities were just ok, but rooms were nice and restaurant was better than anticipated. Would highly recommend getting reservations far in advance for Amada which is just a few blocks away for the best tapas in town!

11/2012: Valet parking plus tax is $37/day here. Nearby garages are $24-25. The bellman told me they were $6 more. The only advantage is valet has in-out privileges, but you pick this hotel because you want to walk to attractions, right? Other than that, the hotel is nice and you are right in old city. We used the Market Frankford Line to visit the Wanamaker Building/Macys, City Hall, and Reading Terminal.
