This hotel is In Society Hill, the most historic neighbourhood. It is right by independence hall, liberty bell, US mint, Carpenters and many other attractions. As this was our first trip with our 4 month old it was perfect. We around and then come back to the hotel if need be, which we had to several times esp as it was so hot.

It is a very kid friendly hotel, as they let had an extra sofa bed in the room.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms were very clean and big.

They provide valet parking or you can Park in the garage which is right by the hotel and very convenient.

It also has a restaurant which is fairly pricey but has good desserts.

So the bottom line is it has a fabulous location. If I go back, I would definitely stay there again.

The Omni was in a fantastic location however, one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was the fact that it had a pool. Well, the pool is only a lap pool and it closes early 1PM on Sundays.
The room was OK nothing spectacular. The beds were very hard. Staff was friendly no issues at check in or check out.

We just returned home after a 5 night stay at the Omni. The location was the best in the historic district. We were on the 12th floor and could see the baseball stadium from a distance so we were treated to fireworks at the stadium 2 of our nights. Our children enjoyed the pool it was a little small but suited our needs. The room was a good size and very comfortable. We did order food at the lounge the first night and had breakfast the first morning there but it was a bit pricey so we found other options. We walked or caught the phlash trolley to get around and it worked great. We loved Philly there is a lot to do there.

We stayed in the Omni at Independence Park. I pre-requested the room type, floor level, and extra bed. All was accommodated . We also registered for the omni select guest program. This will give you free in room wi-fi.. The location was GREAT. It is located across the street from Independence Park. They also provided complimentary Starbucks coffee in the morning. The room was clean and spacious. We would not hesitate to go back. We stayed in room 1111.

Room Tip: Ask for room facing the park on a higher floor

We flew in to JFK for a month long stay in US and were heading first to Washington DC so decided to break the journey with a stop in Philadelphia. We chose the Omni Hotel Independence Park after reading other reviews.
The hotel is located on a main street and parking is valet at a cost of $37 per day.
The lobby of the hotel is quite small but very stylish. The front desk staff were welcoming and check in couldn't have been easier or quicker. The concierge also greeted us as we made our way to our rooms and offered her help if we wanted too see any of the sights during our stay.
The rooms at Omni Hotel Independence Park are perhaps a little dated and on the smallish side but they are comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and reasonably sized however the bottom of the bath seemed stained, over scrubbed with abrasives is my guess, but again this could be an age problem. The AC cooled perfectly (our stay coincided with a real heatwave) but was slightly noisy. Sadly I can't review food at the hotel as we chose to go to iHop instead but there is a restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel.
Our room overlooked a beautiful park full of chestnut trees and within walking distance there were a selection of decent restaurants to eat at. Philadelphia is a city steeped in history and we were sad we had only booked for one night leaving us little time to explore. We will definitely go back and more than likely stay at the Omni Hotel Independence Park again for its service and location.
