“Great Beer”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

We were visiting from out of town and am very glad we stopped in for lunch. Since it was late in the afternoon it was pretty quiet and we had our choice of seating. The staff was very friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. Had the panko crusted fresh mozzarella as an appetizer, the char-grilled sausage calzone with mozzarella, caramelized onions and roasted peppers(yum!) and a juicy beef burger with roasted jalapeños served with hand cut fries. Everything was delicious. Also tried two brews: Bohemian Pilsner and the Baltic Porter. Both were very good. So good in fact that we took home a growler of the port. Definitely stop in if you are in the west Philly area.

“pizza and beer!”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

The pizza here is outstanding and there's a huge variety. They are cooked in a wood burning oven like you find in Italy. The beer is very good too. It's a loud and happy place.

“Great beer, even better pizza”
Reviewed May 8, 2012

This place is awesome. The fig jam and Gorgonzola pizza is one of the greatest things I've ever eaten. They also show movies on Tuesdays, which is pretty terrific.

“Local bar geared to 21-29 alternative crowd”
Reviewed March 8, 2012

I've eaten here twice. The beer is great, if you like microbrews and locally crafted options, this is the right place. The food is merely ok. i wouldn't go back for the food. the pizzas are the best option, they're decent. the decor is a little art house industrial for my taste, a little grim and bare for me. They show independent movies on the wall on tuesday nights.
for the beer, i'd recommend it. for the food, there's better places in philly.
if you aren't the right age group or wearing the right kind of clothing, you're going to feel out of place.
