This museum has a very impressive collection of cars. If you have a car fan in the family it is worth the trip.

“Wonderful cars with nice displays”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2014

The Simeone Automotive Museum is a bit out of the way, but well worth a visit.
The over 60 cars are well-displayed with painted dioramas and divided up by time frames and where they might have been raced. The displays are better than most museums I've visited. Don't miss the annex; there are about 20 more cars tucked away there.
When I visited, the museum was almost empty; they actually had to turn on the lights for me as I was the first one there.
Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.
There is a small gift shop with many posters, models and t-shirts.

“Private events”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2014

I've been here for three private events. All were done very well. THe place is huge, so be careful if planning a party here. I believe they have several caterers to choose from. I have been to private events there as well as corporate events for people in the hospitality industry. If having a large affair, it is a cool space to play with. Di Bruno's catered one of the private affairs that was there and the food was excellent.

“If you love vintage cars, it's a MUST”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2014

This is a hidden gem in Phila. Most people here never heard about it. A doctor started his collection of vintage cars with a boost from his Dad who already had several. Nothing fancy about the museum, just 1 fantastic car after another. My little 5 y.o. grandson also loved it because he could run around and no one yelled at him. If in Philly and you love cars, don't miss this collection. It's somewhat near the airport. Parking is easy, their own lot. I put 1-2 hrs for visit (if you have children with you) but an adult that loves cars could easily spend more time here.

“Fred's collection is simply marvelous!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2014

It is simply the most amazing car collection in the world. Fred's collection is outstanding, his knowledge limitless and he is the most gracious host. I look forward to being able to visit again in the future. LOL, I would give my right arm to be able to take a spin on his private track in one of those cars!
