Doing a City Food Tour is a MUST if you are in Philadelphia. You will gain a lot of insight into the famous foods of Philly as well as the city's history in general. The tour guides are funny and entertaining, which makes everything even more fun.

We went to Philly for a hockey game and mini vacation, left knowing next year the vacation will be 10 days long just to take in all the sites, history and wonderful foods. We are planning on taking the In-Laws and experiencing the other food tours as well. Walking is the only way to see Philly. Keep it up and come up with other tours too we will be watching. See you very soon, maybe sooner than next yr. Tina and Ken

Eric is a very interesting tour guide. Very knowledgible on cheeses and chocolates. I learned a lot and retuned to purchase teas and cheeses. The chocolate part of the tour could have been extended another couple of hours and maybe then I would have had all my questions answered.
I have visited the DeBruno's in South Philly for years but this was the fuirst time for the Chestnut site. We even had lunch there. So good. And between Eric and the gentleman behind the counter, I learned so much about cheeses and learned of a great book on the topic, which I ordered from Amazon.com.
Really, a 3 hour tour is great for the Mighty Minnow, but not long enough for the Philly food tour. Then, we did get directions to get back and ask more questions of the store owners!

I have been on 3 different City Food tours and they all were loads of fun! Rob and Eric are very knowledgeable and they add a bit of humor to the tour as well. My latest tour was for my bachelorette party. All the girls, myself included, had a blast and learned a lot about cheese, wine, tapas, and sangria. I will definitely participate in another City Food tour again! Thank you Rob and Eric!!
