Fun, interesting and unique experience. The ethnic foood was delicious and different. I greatly enjoyed spending time with my daughter and some new friends in the group. Our tour guide Robert was very knowledgeable, ehtusiastic and fun. His sense of humor and caring about the group made the afternooon a delight. We will be trying their other tours soon.

Not much to say about "Ethnic Eats of South Philly" except the entire tour was GREAT!! Our guide, Robert (and owner), was knowledgeable, approachable, and personable. I wish he could have been our private shopper as we strolled (quickly) through the Asian market.

If you have a chance, during the more milder months, book a tour! But, even with that said, the walk between sites is not that far and even if the weather is a little frightful, don't worry!

This tour of Northern Liberties (a wonderful part of Philadelphia) would have certainly earned a 5, were it not for the menu items served on the tour. First, let me say that our guide was wonderful. Brian, a young man with roots in the area, was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to the small but intimate group of 8 included in our tour. He shared lots of historical data about the area and was inclusive, so all felt welcome. Public parking lot was across the street, free parking on a Saturday afternoon. This was a walking tour, not at all strenuous, so wear comfortable shoes. No need to bring a camera...

The restaurants were good choices, however, the food choices were heavy with fried foods. Fried tater tots, fried jalepeno poppers, fried chips and salsa, fried green tomatoes and a wonderfully decadent (not fried) stuffed cupcake. Definitely not a food menu for the healthy minded.

That being said, the afternoon was wonderful and if you don't care about an afternoon of fat food, this is a great idea. We will do City Food Tours again, but a different tour, hopefully a little more health conscious. Thanks

My wife & I enjoyed this tour very much! The food was good & our tour guide Kristen was excellent. A wonderful way to spend an Autumn afternoon. We finally got to experience "Bubble Tea", had tater tots, fried green tomato, mac and cheese, hush puppies, jalapeno poppers, chips & salsa & a decadent cupcake to top it all off! Learned a lot about the neighborhood & the establishments there. Would recommend this tour. Our only suggestion would be a list of parking garages near the meeting spot. If you are unfamilar with the area, parking may be a bit of a challenge. Allow extra time to find a spot.

As a reward to my management team, we took this tour. It was fantastic. Our guide, Judy, was great. She is passionate about Philadelphia and about food. Great combo. Not only did we get a taste of some local favorites, but viewing some of the historical buildings and learning the history was a plus. The tour was not taxing at all. Timely breaks and a no hurry mentality created a very relaxing afternoon. Would highly recommend this tour.
