This restaurant is pricey, and the service is subpar. Our server did not check back to refill water or ask about the food quality. We had to flag him down to get our bill, and waited about 15 minutes for it to be processed. The only thing really going for this restaurant is the beautiful view over the river.

Enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon lunch at Water Works this past weekend. It was a special occasion so we didn't mind spending a little more than usual. The food was great, but the views were even better. We'll be back for sure. Only complaint is that they could put a little more effort into their beer selection, it was average and overpriced.

My husband and I went for his birthday dinner. We thought the view was very pictureques and the location lovely.. We were seated out on the porch overlooking the water on a busy Friday evening. The porch was crowded but not so crowded that we could hear the conversations near us which was nice.
The meal itself left much to be desired. It was just okay. We both had lobster bisque which was good but not yummy. My husband had ribeye (hard not to be good) while I had lobster ravioli. While the presentation was beautiful, the taste was bland. There were no offerings of fresh pepper or grated cheese or even salt/pepper on the table.
While there were many waiters walking around, we were not given a soup spoon until after we started to eat our soup with a teaspoon.
My husband had ice tea with dinner. We had to ask for refills. Not once did one of the waiters ask him if he would like a refill. For what we paid for dinner the service was definately lacking.
We would not recommend nor return to this restaurant.

I was so disappointed by the awful sour face service from the bartender tonight. He had salt and pepper hair and a beard. No hello, no smile, made us wait, and no apology. He just seemed miserable. It seems he forgot we were the paying customer. Never again!

Had a business lunch and must say the food was wonderful and the service was very attentive. A bit pricey. The view from the outside veranda was lovely. However it was very warm and we had asked for inside seating when we made the reservation. Our guests were fine but we should have been given the option of eating indoors.
