Clever idea creating a restaurant from a former water works. Nice location close to the Philadelphia Museum of Art with a great view of the Schuylkill River and 'Boathouse Row' creating a destination eatery. Has valet parking. Nicest tables are those directly overlooking the river. The service was friendly and efficient. We were there with a large party and considering this challenge, the service was extraordinarily good.
The food was presumably intended to be gourmet, but fell short of this vision. Nonetheless, the food was satisfactory. Reportedly the brunch is much better. The wine list was adequate, but wine prices on the high side (multiple of 2.5 to 3 over retail prices.) All things considered a good venue for a splurge night out.
