I visited the hotel for a brief stay with a group of friends while seeing a couple of baseball games at the outstanding ballpark in Philly.
We had two rooms, both on the 2nd floor. We were greeted warmly by Gida, whom I had messaged with prior to our stay, and she had all our requests covered at the time of check-in.
Both rooms had very high, loft like, ceilings. One bathroom had floor to ceiling windows with lovely, exposed brick interior walls. Overall, very comfortable surroundings.
Our only issue was with the room temperature controls. After coming back from an extra long baseball game, we couldn't seem to cool our rooms down... the a/c seemed to be out of our control. It took a while, but the clerk at reception was able to help us cool down the rooms by a using a control via their phone system. I have never stayed in a room before where the wall thermostat does not control the a/c, rather the phone console.
Anyway, once the problem was addressed, we had a splendid stay at the hotel.
We used their parking lot which was convenient to the hotel and gave us in/out access for a $15 daily fee.
I hope to visit this hotel again if I'm in Philly in the future.More
