“Great dinosaurs ... Creepy old stuffed animals”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2012

The review title is a paraphrase of my 8 year-old's review. The Academy is a great stop if you got a kid that is into dinosaurs but the stuff animal dioramas are a bit dated. For a more complete day out try the Zoo or the Franklin Inst.

“Cool stuff to see for all ages.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2012

Have enjoyed this over the years with my kids and just a fun place to explore. Has wonderful exhibits, variety of displays. Add to your list if downtown. Only need a few hours, unless your little ones are really into dinosaurs.

“Good for little kids 5 under”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

The younger kids seemed to have more fun. My son is 9. He didn't seem enjoying it. We went through it within 30 minutes and left for Franklin Institute instead. Good thing we had membership that was part of the Passport program that got us in for free. I'd be mad if I had to pay for admission there.

OK. It's the oldest Natural history museum. Just for historical value, visit it.
