“Bit lackluster”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

Huge building and so much capability to have so much more. Gift shop seemed to have too many kids items and not enough variety of items for adults. Was it just short inventory that day? Only 2 movies, 1 was 20 mins & other 30 mins. Long long hall with pix on walls on either side. Saw 2 people dressed in colonial clothing. Nothing else. Small museum-ish area towards back, expensive itty bitty food court. A lotta space which could have so much more history within it. No visitor magazines with anything historical in it...a lot of "action places listed telling you where else you could go in Philly in those magazines and ads but not much else in them. To say the least, I was disappointed.

Make this your first stop for information and tickets. Nice giftshop, clean restrooms, staff helpful and patient when answering questions. This is where you get your free tickets to Todd House and Bishop White's House,as well as Independence Hall. These are must sees!
