Get your tickets, stop at the clean bathroom, and watch a film to set the stage for your visit to Philly. Nicely done.

I was only there for a few minutes so I can't say a lot. The staff was informative and the center was organized.

“Start Your Visit Here”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

This is one of the first places to visit when you arrive in Philadelphia. You must come here to get timed tickets to visit Independence Hall and can also join one of the free guided tours provided by the National Park Service. You can also find information about and buy tickets for private tours. There's a cafe so that you can get a quick bite to eat and restrooms. The gift shop has a lot of really nice items--there was even a book signing event going on when we visited.

“Good place for info about the area”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

Great place to start to get info about this area. Staff are friendly and informative and you can get a good map of the area. Only negative is the park ranger told us there was not much parking on the street and he advised us to park in a lot, based on his personal experience of vandalism to his car in the middle of the day. He had us a little nervous about parking in Philli but we parked on the street anyway. It was a main street in this area and we did not have any problems. Parking in lots is pricey in this area. Street parking is the way to go! There seems to be plenty.
