What a great show Once was. What a terrible venue for comfort the theater is. The seats have no room at all. My back hurts and will for a while

I just returned from seeing "Once" at the Academy. The musical was great, and the Academy is a great place to see a production. There are a variety of seats, priced according to their respective view. The facility is well staffed, so maneuvering through the event was easy. The online directions to the "Kimmil Center Parking Garage" were rather poor, but fortunately we found someone who was able to direct us. We had a great time!

What a great show. The cast is excellent. We were in the Amphitheatre and the seats were not the best but the show was awesome.

The Academy of Music building, of historical note, offers never ending choices of entertainment. I was brought up, attending children's concerts by the Philadelphia Orchestra, a world class group, sitting in the Academy's highest seats. Much more recently, for a totally new experience, I attended a show that did literally put my already tired body to sleep. But that is certainly the exception. If in town, look up what's 'playing' there. Usually something of high quality. And the horseshoe shaped multi-tiered balconies remind one of a European opera house.

A good alternative of seeing your favorite Broadway shows without having to endure long lines, crowds and heavy traffic of New York City, not to mention cheaper tickets! I have been here twice and the interior is classic and beautiful. About to go for the third time to see the newest show "Once"... great seats, intimate and good view of the stage.. except probably for the columns which obstructs the view but overall gives the whole theater its classical feel.
