My son is not into art like some people but he really enjoyed visiting the Rodin Museum with me. We were there more than two hours which I would think is about the average length for most people. The audio guided tour is a must.

So many people miss out on this museum because it sits in the shadow of the much larger Philadelphia Museum of Art. It may be small but the collection is amazing. Highly recommend a visit here.
You can visit both museums if you have good portion of the day to do it.

This museum has the largest collection of Rodin's sculptural works outside of Paris! Quite impressive. Walk past the Thinker and enter the museum through the Gates of Hell!

Small museum dedicated to works of Rodin. Houses the original Gates of Hell, plus versions of The Thinker and The Kiss. On the Parkway within easy reach from downtown on foot. Small gardens area. Wish this were a larger venue.

We were doing a bus tour of the city and decided to check out the museum. We were familiar with the Thinker and I had recently seen the Men from Caliles in London. What we found most impressive was the Gates of Hell which includes over 180 depictions, including the Thinker and The Shades. Very intricate and rather scary. The rest of the museum was small, open. And impressive, overall a good choice, then we got back on the us and continued on the tour.
