I loved seeing one of my favorite artists' work in one place. The audio tour is absolutely perfect. Each of the rooms is arranged with sculpture that was nicely grouped. The grounds outside are also worth a visit.

Smaller museum, beautiful works by Rodin. Short walk from Museum of Art. Exterior grounds are nice, as well. Worth a stop.

We have seen the Rodin Museum in Paris, but never visited this one in Philadelphia. It has the Gates of Hell that is monumental. What we didn't know is that this was the original work. The copy is in Paris. The museum, although limited, does have some intriguing works by Rodin, including the Thinker, the Burghers of Calais and other major works by the artist.

I have been to the traveling Rodin exhibit when it was in Raleigh North Carolina, USA. This Rodin Museum in Philadelphia is a must-see. The sculpture of hands are especially worth studying. The museum stands as a testament and example as to what people can do to share their love of great art.

This museum is 2nd only to the Musee Rodin in Paris. We had a wonderful docent who gave us lots of background. The castings are what you would see in Paris.
