Owner description: With over 140 bronzes, marbles, and plasters - including "The Thinker" - the distinguished collection housed in the Rodin Museum represents every phase of Auguste Rodin’s career. “Pretty Building but Not Much Else”
Reviewed April 12, 2012

There is simply not much to see. The building is pretty and the idea is interesting but again there isn't much to this attraction. You can be in and out of it within 15 minutes. I appreciate and understand art. I am a classically trained artist from a top ranked art college.

“Fascinating.”

Rodin seems like a tortured soul. His art is very powerful. I enjoyed it very much.

“Evocative”

I've been to the Rodin house and museum in Paris. This isn't quite that, but it is a great collection in an intriguing setting.

“Look for The Thinker!”

This is a beautiful museum, with some amazing Rodin works. (Closed at the moment for renovation - reopening in July 2012.)

“Excellent free museum for sculpture”
Reviewed March 12, 2012

This museum is small but very worth your time. You may already be in the area if you visit the Art Museum so you don't want to miss it. The visitor's bus Phlash also stops here. So if you're riding around on it to get somewhere else and pass this, get off! Rodin's sculptures are amazing. The "thinker" sits out front. If you don't think you know Rodin sculptures, trust me, you do.
