This is still a church where services are held each week. It is in pristine condition. Our tour guide was outstanding. What a feeling to know you were sitting where well-known colonists had sat so many years ago. If you are a teacher or have youngsters, the gift shop is terrific.

Enjoyed walking outside looking at all the important names buried in the church yard. Very historic you will like it!

This is the place that made me realize there must have been quite a bit of money around Philadelphia, even back in the 1700's. I know it was the nations biggest and most important city, so I guess this church was built to reflect that. It is similar in many ways to Old North Church in Boston, but everything about it oozes wealth in a way the Boston churches don't. The helpful guide told us where Franklin and Washington sat, and gave us interesting information about the design (meant to be in Wren style) and the patronage of the church. A must visit place.

There is so much history in this church. It was a great experience. The man working there was really good at talking to my son and getting him involved. He made sure that my son understood how history affects us today. He really made the visit so educational.

This is a lovely, historic church and, as a bonus, the cemetery is quite atmospheric. Don't just peek at it from the outside; enter and plunge into the experience.
