“No wait in January!”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

Lots of wonderful information about the founding of the United States. Buildings were neat and we enjoyed the free tour.

“A very historical place”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

I actually never realised that Philadelphia was the place where America was founded. There is a lot of history and actually being in the room where it all happened... quiet special. Definitely worth a visit.

“It speaks for itself”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

The place was on my list since a long time & it found that it was worth it. Its like a museum and tourist attraction as well as a landmark. Very good place for the young ones go get acquainted with history. The Q was a little long (approx 30 min wait after the security check). They were letting people-in in a batch of 85 ppl. Inside, you visit the hall of Independence, the place where the first supreme court was held. It has been maintained well & you get to see the actual furniture where once the great minds of America sat and discussed. Clicking fotos of those Quills was a fun thing, then you also get to see the ammo collection from the same era. A free guided tour where I appreciate the enthu & energy of the staff. The view from the windows is nice. I recommend, you must pay a visit. Its 5 min away from downtown, next to Liberty bell center, visitor center & Penn's Landing. On a romantic getaway?? take the buggy ride....

“Excellent exhibits”

You can spend a whole day of browsing, reading and searching for the information. Excellent exhibits! I believe the visit would be beneficial for kids and adults.

“A must see for everyone!”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

We had a great time visiting the Independence Hall.
The tour was free and relatively short, although we had to wait in line to get through the security check.
The presentation was very informative and interesting. We enjoyed visiting the chambers and looking at the furniture and decorations.
