“Can't Miss This”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

The First place I want to go to in Philly. The atmosphere, the food, the heritage, the food, the diverse people/cultures, and did I say the food? It is great! Take your time, don't wait till you are starving, you won't be able to make it through without seeing all the choices. I love it and would go back there tomorrow.

“Ashamed to like it so much!”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

I come from Boston, and I'm ashamed to admit that the Quincy Market pales in comparison. This is a great place to just wander around or to do some serious food shopping. It is also a great place to eat. Rather than go to more expensive places, I could easily eat here for an entire weekend - maybe a week!

“Fantastic Place”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

I was in Philly for the weekend and decided to stop in with some friends. This place is truly the "real deal"! Dozens of food places, fresh fish, produce, and even a bar with an incredible selection of beers. Sunday's the Amish run businesses are closed, but that is only about 10% of the businesses.
The main thing in Reading Terminal Market is the QUALITY of the businesses within. Very impressive. Smells, sights, sounds.....give it a try when you are in Philly.

“Packed but fun”
Reviewed November 10, 2013 via mobile

I loved walking around this indoor market, even though it was especially packed the day I went. There is a paid parking garage across the street. Get your ticket validated with a purchase in the market for discounted parking.
Lots of choices. I loved the $1.50 bag of gingersnaps from one of the Amish stands. The big produce stand is super cheap. I could have found tons for lunch. All in all, fun!

“went on sunday so all the amish places were closed”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

the market was one of our stops on the hop on hop off bus tour and we were so looking forward to eating some amish food along with dinnicks. all the amish places were closed. the market also closes early, if the hours were longer more people could go for a later dinner. I f you watched national treasure or even after you visit watch national treasure this market was in the movie so that made it fun. they have all kinds of things to flowers, spices, coffee, tea, bakeries, sandwiches, even craft items. If you are planning to shop here and take things back home bring along a big bag and maybe even ziploc bags if you cant eat all your sandwich in one sitting. there are tables to eat on you meet people from different countries, bathroom all the way to the back. even if you dont buy anything just take a walk through this popular market, I think it has been in more than one movie I could be mistaken, but keep in mind if you want anything amish they dont work on sunday.
