Great places to get a bite to eat. Try the home made ice cream!

“Great place to eat”
Reviewed November 6, 2011

We stayed nearby at the Loews, and stumbled upon this place by accident on the first day. What a great place to eat. We tried both a deli and a breakfast spot who's motto was start your day the Amish way. Breakfast was fantastic. One of the best places we found in Philly.

“Exceptional variety of foods! Heaven for foodies!”
Reviewed November 5, 2011

An unbelievable collection of fresh food vendors in this marketplace! The busyness creates a nice vibe within the building!! Don't know how long it would take to try all this food but would love the challenge!

If you're not comfortable with crowds, this is a busy location where you'll be in tight quarters with lots of strangers! :D

“Food Lover's Dream!”

The Reading Terminal Market is a great place to visit. The Market is mainly food of all varieties, cooked and uncooked. There is something here for everyone and a must visit.

“Not worth it, television has hyped it up too much”
Reviewed November 1, 2011

Went there just this past halloween weekend, it was not a nice experience, everybody is rude and want to close one hour before it says it is closing, so, if the market closes at 5 and you get there at 4, nobody wants to cook or prepare food for you anymore. Places that have been featured in the Food Network Channel, such as Dinic's pork sandwiches, sell out quickly right after lunch time and honestly is not the bes sandwich I have ever had in my life. The same goes for the mac and cheese of Delilah's, dry and flavorless. People at the Oyster place yelled and coursed at my 2 little kids when they sat there to eat their ice cream,. eve though they were closed already. Then a man there yelled at my friend "move bi@#$" when she was not even standing on his way. So, it is more the fame and publicity they get from TV than real flavor and value for the food. Let alone the customer service, they already make way too much money from the regular customers that deal with their attitude.
