The Liberty Bell in its glass house at the end of the visitor center and mall is viewable at all times from the outside and probably the most viewed historic attraction in Independence National Park. Of course if one has time, getting in line to see it up close and personal is very rewarding. We live down the street from it and pass it all the time, but during the summer, had the pleasure of taking our niece and grand-nephew visiting from California to visit the Liberty Bell.

The liberty bell is something that anyone should take the time to visit. The short line and then tour are things you will remember and if you are a student of history or will be studying it in school you want to be able to say you saw it in person.

The tour is free and you can move at your own pace.

Every American school child, young and teen should be taken to this attraction. Ditto any member of the military, to help you remember why you serve.

Before you go be sure to stop in the Visitors Center right across the street.

It's the Liberty Bell. It is Philly. During the week the line isn't so bad. On the weekend it can be longer but it moves quickly. Plus you get to spin yourself around going through security.
