“Free and quite interesting”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

There was long line to get through security, but it moved fast. The bell itself is smaller than I expected, but pretty cool. Well worth the visit.

“A Must-see, Get There Early”
Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

Definitly the first place to visit in Philly, and that brings a problem. Normally, you will see crowds of people waiting in line, unless you arrive just after it is opened (9 in the morning). Other than that, this place is great. Besides the bell, you can see a small exhibit telling you more about the history of the bell (including facts about that crack). This is a must-go, but be sure to arrive early.

“A mini-museum in itself”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

The Liberty Bell is not so much to see all by itself, but the symbolism is strong and stirring even today. There are several historical exhibits about the bell, its history and attempts to fix the crack all of which are quite interesting and not well-known. The line goes quickly, the exhibit is free, and the security guards are way too accusatory as they rummage through your belongings.

“Comprehensive, Informative”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

In the old days you could actually go IN to Independence Hall, but the facility adjacent now houses a thorough and visually rich timeline to understand the significance of the building and area.
