Stayed here for a long weekend, and overall, the hotel was very nice. Staff was terrific, they gave us discounted parking and refunded the internet charges because of intermittent service interruptions. Hotel is in a great location for museums, and the convention center and Reading Terminal Market are only a couple of blocks away. Rooms were average size, but the beds were very comfotable. Only had coffee, etc. from the Starbucks in the lobby, so I can't comment on the restaurants. The elevators were just awful. There is a bank of 6, but it seems that there were never more than 3 working - and one stopped on EVERY FLOOR. When there are 26 stories, that can be a painfully long wait, and eventually, a painfully long ride. They are supposedly in the process of upgrading them, and if so, that would make things better. I would have really liked to have given this hotel a better review, because everything else was really very good, but unless those elevators improve, I would stay elsewhere.

Room Tip: Stay on a low floor so the stairs are an option.

Thank you for your review. We are indeed refurbishing our guest elevators. We hope to have them running more efficient very soon. We are happy to hear that the other facets of our hotel were enjoyable. Please keep in mind that we are aware of the issues that plague the elevators and we are working very hard to fix them. We hope you continue to enjoy staying at The Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel.

The hotel has been amazing. It is very clean and had a great location in the city. I would like to also say that the doorman Joe was awesome!!!! He is always so pleasant and helpful. He goes the extra mile and gave us great recommendations for dinner Several different times. I wish more people were as friendly and helpful as him. We had a great stay in the city and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Ive stayed in just about every hotel in downtown Philly. The Sheraton is the worst. No mattress pad on the bed, mold in the shower, dust on the desk, super loud air conditioner. Shabby is the kindest description I can manage. Even the hallways are in bad shape with exposed electrical panels. I switched hotels after one night and will never go back.

We made last minute plans on a Friday to arri ve that night. We arrived late, but the staff was on point at check in. The room service was fantastic and the concierge pointed us in the right direction for the best tourist traps in Philly. The housekeepers were very friendly and the room had a great view of Logan Square. Had a great time and a great stay!!

Place has a very nice entrance with a nice starbucks stand and the location is close to many restaurants. I was however not a fan of the rooms they seemed a little old and unkept. The water pressure in the shower was Awful. Probably would not stay there again.

Thank you for your review. We need honest reviews like this one to help us with issues that trouble the hotel. With this review, we will have our Engineering Department check the water pressure to make sure it is the proper pressure in each and every room. We hope that you will be able to give us the opportunity to make up for this not so pleasant stay.

Great mid-upper business hotel. You cna be comfortable in a suit or a pair of jeans. There is great value for SPG upper tier members in the executive lounge....the breakfast offer is much more than "continental" and the "happy hour" spread is excellent an varied...if you want a steak for dinner, go elsewhere - if you want salad items and a couple of heavy finger foods, plus cheeses...crackers.....deserts the lounge will meet your hunger. Shawn Zenszer - a college student has been servicing the morning shift at the lounge for a long time. Could not ask for a more helpful and pleasant morning host.

Thank you for your review. We are happy that you were able to enjoy our “Club Lounge”. Shawn is a major reason why our SPG members keep coming back. We try to offer more than a continental breakfast for our guests. In the spirit of hospitality, thank you.

First impressions make all of the difference, and I'm very pleased so far. When I had some questions upon arriving in my room, I called for some assistance. The operator, Sheila, was helpful, courteous, and professional beyond what I would typically expect. I travel frequently for work, and sometimes have less positive experiences with customer service. If everyone here is half as personable, I'm well on my way to having an excellent stay.
