This is the place to go if you want to taste the BEST pork sandwich in Philly! You will not be disappointed! Price is a little high, but worth every penny!

I read some reviews that seemed a bit negative but we took some friends from home that lived in Philly some years ago and went anyway. I'm glad we did! Maybe we had good timing because we didn't have to wait at all, even sat at the counter.
Order the original pork with broccoli rate!

After all the hype, figured we had to try this sandwich. Line was long, but went pretty quickly. We ordered the pork with provolone and broccoli rabe. The cheese and greens were good but the pork didn't have much flavor. We got extra sliced peppers to perk it up. If ever we try again maybe ordering the greens AND the roasted peppers (another additional cost) would make it more flavorful. Kinda disappointing.

We found a spot at the bar almost right away, which was a surprise on the weekend of the 4th.

On a friend's recommendation, we shared a roasted pork sandwich with greens (get the broccoli rabe) and provolone. In a word: DELICIOUS. Each flavor was amazing. Not cheap ($13.00 for the sandwich and two drinks) but with every penny to share with a friend!
