“Delicious, but not the "best sandwich in America."”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

We got the classic roast pork with provolone and broccoli rabe as seen on the Food Network. It was a very good sandwich, I wouldn't say best in America, but worthy of us driving from RI to Philly to get one. A sandwich and drink will cost $11.00.

“Lives up to the hype”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

Went to Philly to visit a friend, who insisted my first meal was at DiNic's, and now I know why. The pulled pork was the best I have tasted, was delicious with the sweet peppers, and the meat juices were soaked up by the bread. I could go on and on about this sandwich! Went back later in the week and had the roast pork with spinach, which was equally amazing. A Philly must.

“DiNic's Delivers”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Well known spot from their historic sandwich championship on Travel channel. Long lines, but it's a must. One could be worried about heightened expectations due to crazy amount of publicity. But rest assured, it delivers. I opted for traditional style, made in the same manner as the Championship Sandwich. I'd rate it an impressive 8 out of 10.

“Just like on TV!”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

I had to try the roast pork/provolone/broccoli raab sandwich and it was absolutely awesome. Everything else looked great too. I wish I had more time as I would have tried some of the other offerings but you can't go wrong with this winner.

“Better than any Cheesesteak”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Why anyone associates the cheesesteak, instead of the roast pork, directly with Philly is beyond comprehension. The sandwich at DiNic's lives up to the hype and then some. Do you have to put up with long lines at lunch time? Yes. Because they are that good.
