This was the last night of a two week stay in Philadelphia and we had been looking forward to our night at the Doubletree. There was not a very personal feel to the hotel. It is very large and seemed very busy. The room on the 14 floor was a very odd shape, a triangle with a king and a sofa bed, my daughter was given the sofa bed with no bedding. We asked and a bottom sheet and just a blanket was provided. I asked for pillows and these finally arrived. My daughter is 5 foot 10 and found the sofa/pull out bed very uncomfortable. The heating control was noisy all night and either was too warm or too cold. My daughter was very cold in the morning with just a cotton blanket. A very uncomfortable night for her. We used the pool but the rust on the bottom was a little worrying.
Location is good and parking was charged at 25 dollars with in and out privileges. We ate out as there were so many good places nearby. We only stayed one night and were very disappointed, not likely to return.More
