Booked hotel with priceline. Good deal for two nights. Ask for a non smoking room but got a smoking room. not a big deal but room smelled like cigarettes. Room was cleaned plenty of towels and free coffee in the room and some cable channels. If you on a budget would highly recommend. Free breakfast as well Staff was ok friendly. Hotel could use some fixing up

Just finished an overnight stay at the hotel before flying out of Philly airport. This is a subpar Hampton. Clearly in need of remodeling. Staff were fine although the hotel was VERY slow in picking us up at the airport (we paid for a stay-and-park option).

My wife and I stayed at the Hampton on Bartram in Philadelphia August 15th and August 16th, and found to to be a typical Hampton - nothing to brag about, but nothing to complain about either. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but not more so than other Hampton Inns that I have been in. The bed is comfortable, the service was very good, and the price was about what I would expect to pay for a Hampton Inn. Wireless Internet access works well enough, and that counts for a lot. An in-house restaurant would have been nice since the location isn't good for restaurants otherwise. In conclusion, if the location is good for you, you won't be disappointed in the facilities.

I stayed in this location for three nights. I selected this hotel because it is close to the airport and it is a Hilton property, and I had to get my nights in to retain my status. Sounds like a win-win, but it wasn't. My rate was $149 which I felt was a bit high with so many other options available nearby. There are at least six hotels within walking distance alone.

Check-in was slow since only one person was staffing the front desk. After waiting in line 10 minutes, two additional staffers came to assist the poor guy who I saw working the front desk the entire time of my stay. My room was on the third floor. Although it was a non-smoking room it smelled of having been smoked in and there were no other rooms available despite my 6 pm check-in.

The room was appointed as expected-single king bed, desk, old school CRT style TV, bath. The bed was good and had several pillows. My alarm clock was set correctly and functioned.

The bathroom sink did not hold water. I had to improvise to make the drain plug close by using the soap dish on its side and wedging it under the pull handle. This bathroom was designed by, as my wife would say, "the man who" doesn't realize most people don't want to walk across a tile bathroom floor to reach for a dry towel. The towels were stored neatly below the sink, across the room from the shower. The shower and tub were LOW FLOW and that is a bad a thing as ever; I had a difficult time getting wet and rinsing off. Attention hotel designers reading this review, put towels within reach of a person in the shower or face potential lawsuits from forcing patrons to walk across a tile floor dripping wet to get a towel.

The maid service was good, so they have that going for them.

Internet access is complimentary and functioned well. The business center has two stations and two printers, they also worked well. The fitness room had a non-functioning treadmill, upright stationary bike, rowing machine and elliptical. The elliptical had a TV attached but was without power or cable attached.

One side note about the front desk, that guy is so busy with checking people in and out and on top of that answering questions about places to eat, a phone number for this or that, I've never experienced an "information central" like that guy had. Apparently I'm the only traveler with a smartphone, itouch with yelp or tripadvisor or Google Maps I guess despite the availability of the hotel's business center people would pepper the front desk staff with these questions. A GPS also will tell you what restaurants are nearby: ONE. That's the Ruby Tuesday next door to the hotel, and it was busy every time I walked past the place. Then again if they had that information in the room guide I guess people wouldn't be asking.

The shuttle bus driver was kind enough to take me over to the Hilton and I ate a very good cheesesteak at the Player's sports bar there. The Sheraton also was under a mile away and it has restaurants but the area isn't very conducive to walking about. An Embassy Suites also serves food and it's within walking distance. I'm not typically crazy about eating inside a hotel unless forced to do so.

Next time I'm in the area I will check out other properties, but this place is a fallback. It isn't horrid, just not my first choice. Had the front desk not perpetually had a line-up and if a little maintenance was applied here and there, it would be your typical Hampton inn. As it stands, they need to do some work to retain the Hampton name.

The hotel was fine except that the shower in our room didn´t drain. At all. I called down, They didn´t offer a room change and didn´t seem very concerned. He also did not apologize. I got the impression they had heard the complaint a lot and were unable to fix the problem.

Tub was a bit dirty from previous occupants (rings, etc.) due to the drain problem.

Sort of gross for a medium priced hotel.

This Hampton Inn was perfect for an overnight getaway. We booked through Priceline and got a fantastic deal of $39! The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was extremely helpful.

Been here several times in past few years and have yet to be there when there wasn't a long wait to check in, with only one person manning the desk. The place is deteriorating, it hasn't had the facellft like many Hamptons. On this particular visit, the lady handling the breakfast area wasn't taking care of it. May look at staying elsewhere next trip.
