“Just what they promise”

This attractive, airport hotel delivered just what it says on their van - "nice clean room, friendly staff, hot breakfast, and free shuttle to PHL". For the one-night stay that I suspect is most common there, it is an excellent choice. The one hiccup was that the floor of my room - both tile and carpet - felt sticky to my feet - so I was glad that I had slippers with me. Other than that, the stay was really excellent. The breakfast service was particularly good - attractive area and nicely prepared foods. I'd stay here again with pleasure.

Overall our stay was fine. Our room was pretty clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet was fully stocked.

The issues::

- They advertise all over that they replace the duvet covers and sheets every night for every room and every guest. They do not. When we first checked in there was a dark mark on one corner of our duvet cover, we stayed 3 nights and the cover was never changed. Each afternoon when we got back the bed had been made and towels had been replaced but we had the same duvet cover with the same dark spot all 3 nights.

- The tub drain was broken and would not stay down, can't take a bath.

- Someone's child pulled the fire alarm at 2 am on our second night. I understand the hotel had nothing to do with that but something in their system broke when the alarm was pulled causing it to go off every 15 min until 5 am. Needless to say we did not sleep that night. The manager sent me an email apologizing for the inconvenience but still.... we paid to SLEEP there and did not get what we paid for.

We don't plan to go back to Philly but considering the prices of everything else in the area I guess we'd stay here again if we had to.

Super-clean room and comfortable bed with high quality bedding made our overnight stay with family a winner. Big bathroom, spotless, with nice shampoo, conditioner, lotion and mouthwash. Lots to choose from at the free breakfast buffet, and plenty of it. My husband had the cheese omelet with turkey sausages and whole wheat toast. I had a bagel with cream cheese, the cheese omelet, and fruit. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. We had them hold our bags before the 3PM check in while we made the short drive into Philly to see Independence Hall, the Betsey Ross House, the Liberty Bell, and lots of other American history sites. The next day, after we checked out, the hotel held our bags again for the day until we were ready to leave the Philly area and drive home. Each time, they quickly located our bags and brought them out to us with no problems. Overall, the hotel is quite attractive and not worn out looking like so many places these days. Well done.

The stay here was nice. Very clean, comfortable, friendly hotel. Only negative mark was the drains in the bathroom were not working properly. The sink and shower were VERY slow to go down. Luckly, we only used the shower briefly. Notified the front desk and she noted it on a sheet of paper hopefully fixing the problem. I did notice that is another review too. Hmmmm.

Room Tip: Check the drains when you first get into the room.

This Hampton Inn is conveniently located near the airport and has a shuttle service to the airport. Otherwise it is just average as far as hotels go. It was expensive for a Hampton Inn, and the quality was not as good as most Hampton Inns. The room was not very clean and the walls were very thin. Although close to the airport, it is not close to much else, including restaurants.

Very convenient to the airport (6 minutes away) and surprisingly quiet. Very clean property and nice large comfortable rooms. Don't go for the scenic views however. This property is perfect for its convenience to the airport but there isn't much around it as restaurants are concerned. There is a TGI Friday's next door that you can walk to that is very good however (read my review on that). The service here is pretty good and they do offer a shuttle service to the airport as well.

We stayed here on night after a late flight into Philly prior to catching the train to Lancaster. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was typical Hamilton Inn fare. We took the complimentary shuttle to the hotel from the airport. We asked them to call for a taxi the next morning for us-turns out the taxi company they use-may call someone from downtown instead of someone at the airport-so it took forever! The shuttle driver eventually took us to a road where we caught a taxi-this was after waited for 15 minutes on a taxi. The staff were very helpful.

The one negative-the door to the bathroom, scraped the floor anytime it opened. So when the floor was tiled-the door was not cut to make it smooth. It was loud and annoying.
