Hampton Inn Philadelphia-International Airport
Ranked #25 of 88 Hotels in Philadelphia
Certificate of Excellence

the hotel is small Hampton, in what we thought would be convenient to airport. It is just a few minutes away, but we found ourselves getting lost and going in wrong directions several times, to and from this hotel. And we are originally from Philadelphia. Definitely needed some help, but the staff couldn't supply this, either.

We've stayed at this particular Hampton several times while visiting our daughter in Philly. This location works very well for us for exploring the area and going back and forth to Center City. The complimentary breakfast is a great way to start the day. The coffee is very good! Our room was very comfortable and clean. Parking is free in their lot, which is a bonus in Philly. My only complaint is that the staff seemed rather aloof and not very welcoming.

This is a well located hotel for access to PHL airport and nearby businesses. It is also well located for access to restaurants, of which there is a wide choice. The rooms are clean and smell clean as well. I was unable to get ESPN on the television, but all other channels came in very well. The bathroom provided a smaller space for toiletries on the sink than most but it was clean and toilet and bath worked very well. It was very clean. The staff was very helpful, efficient and friendly.

Spent one night here prior to a very, very early departing flight. (The early flight was my idea, what was I thinking?) Here are the pros and cons:

Pros: very affordable (99$); room was clean (however, the lobby and elevators were not); fresh, clean duvet (a Hampton standard that I love); bed was comfortable; the lighting in the bathroom was great (that's an oddity nowadays); friendly staff (one person); excellent shuttle service; breakfast was available at 5 am; fitness center adequate (awkward set up but sufficient).

Cons: lobby and elevator not so clean; understaffed desk at night (although the one employee was very efficient); busy, busy, busy (lots of people in and out); worn out decor (definitely time to replace).

It's a good airport option.

Stayed here prior to an early flight out of PHL and worked out as we expected. Great, friendly staff. Comfortable beds, and a nice hot breakfast in AM. A plus was the free parking and the Ruby Tuesday right next door.

If you want "hand's on" service, this is the place to stay. From the driver to the front staff to the manager who actively monitored the morning breakfast bar and pitched I when necessary, thisplaceoffers value for money. Close to the airport, it's is far enough away to not have noise pollution. It's close location to the SEPTA train station makes it convenient to travel into Center City. All in all, excellent value for money.

I have to say that I was apprehensive going to a big city and staying by the airport. I thought there would be alot of noise. Well I was wrong. No noise of airplanes flying overhead. The staff was absolutely the epitome of hospitality. They went out of their way to make my overnight stay pleasant. There was difficulty downloading the boarding passes and the staff member stayed with me until it was complete which took almost an hour. The manager showed hospitality by aiding me to learn how I could leave my car there for the week that I was going to be away. My family and I have traveled and stayed at many Hampton Inn's over the years at many locations. We would have to say that this Hampton staff lived up to the 'Phila' in Philadelphia which means "Brotherly Love." They truly looked out for us and we will never forget our wonderful experience.
