“A nice stay at a nice hotel”
Reviewed November 12, 2011

We stayed here because of a concert at the Wells Fargo Center. Check in was a breeze, the room seemed clean (although i don't carry a black light when i travel) The room was on the 6th floor and had 2 twin beds. The bathroom was nice with rolled towels like you would find at a fancier hotel (i'm sure that's it's intended purpose) The room didn't habe a refridgerator which i found odd because even the really cheap hotels has one. The guy at the front desk was very helpful in setting up a taxi for us to be picked up. He called 10 minutes before our departure time to inform us that the taxi had arrived. After hours the hotel locks up and you'll need your room key to get back in the hotel. There is a Ruby Tuesdays right next to the hotel all you have to do is walk across the parking lot, through the gate and you're in the Rubys parking lot. Hotel would be great for travelers, flight info is broadcast on the TV and taxi service is fast and dependable. I didn't stck around to see what kind of breakfast they had but i'm sure it's like every other big cain hotel you've ever stayed to. All in all this hotel is worth staying to. Nice staff, cheap, and close to the airport. It's like 5 miles from the sporting complexes (Wells Fargo, Lincoln Field, Citizen Bank Park are all butted up together in one huge area) as far as the inner city, it's like 10 miles from where the Liberty Bell is. It's away from all the hustle and bustle of the inner city which is another plus.

I travel a lot. Typically my company prefers Marriot but we stayed at the Hampton on this trip. It wasnt anything special, Good clean rooms. Nice stay.

however, dont expect a list of places to eat to be outside the door. There wasnt much but one place to eat in the parking lot. The airport was close so that was nice but overall it wasnt anything special.

Fine for business but not anything I would choose for a personal trip necessarly.

My wife had a convention to attend to at the convention center in the city and all the hotels close by were booked. We decided to stay at this Hampton Inn due to the railroad which goes into town was very close by, the hotel shuttle will drop you off at the railroad station. The car drive into the downtown area is about 15-20 minutes if you wish to drive. We arrived at check in time , check in was quick, friendly, and the clerk gave us each a free bottled water. The lobby and elevator were clean. The room looked and smelled clean, the bathroom was also very clean and well stocked with toiletries. There is a flat screen TV,alarm clock, sofa, computer desk with chair and free Wi-Fi. The bed was very comfy, our main reason for choosing the Hampton Inn. The parking is plentiful and free. The free breakfast has something for everyone, the wife and I were very happy with the breakfast, eggs, meat, bread, bagels, pastries, milk, juice, coffee, assorted teas, cereal, oatmeal and plenty of fresh fruits, everything was plentiful, fresh and hot ! There is a swimming pool which was closed due to it being september cold weather. Every hotel staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. I felt comfortable and safe at all times. There is also a Ruby Tuesday restaurant a two minute walk thru the parking lot. I would highly recommend this particular Hampton Inn to my family and friends. I will definitely stay at this Inn again.

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns across the US in our travels and this one compares very favorably. Rooms were large, very clean and appeared recently upgraded. Complimentary breakfast offered alot of variety and was excellent. As with other Hamptons, free wi-fi, a business center and guest laundry were available. The most impressive part of our stay was the staff - extremely pleasant and helpful. Ruby Tuesday is within short walking distance and was a welcome option after a long day of travel. You won't go wrong choosing this hotel.

We only stayed here for one night & found it to be a nice place to stay. AND we got it for a bargain price too :)

We had a room with 2 double beds which was good for each of us to stretch out in (sometimes you need your own bed!!!) & had a nice relaxing sleep before we left in the morning to go to Salem, MA.

Free internet, friendly staff, decent free breakfast, hot showers (thats important to me, especially in winter!!), new tvs with cable, late checkout, gym on premises (hubby was happy!), business center (which we used), free coffee/tea all day long,

Ruby Tuesdays just across the road for dinner was yummy (our first visit to one!!!!! and definitely not our last!) so that was very handy for dinner. Gorgeous waiter helped make the food better too LOL!

Good nights sleep was had by us both. No problems here

We try and stick with the Hilton Brand while traveling, and this hotel met our expectations. It was a quick 15 minutes to downtown PHL, at over a third to half the cost of downtown hotels.

Room Tip: Near the airport but we did'nt hear a single flight.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for 2 nights during June 2011. We stayed at the hotel as we wanted a base to explore Philadelphia from - this hotel was perfect for that as it was a reasonable rate and was a 10 minute drive to the centre of Philadelphia.

Although the hotel decoration requires updating the hotel had large clean rooms and free parking. The free breakfast had plenty of choice and a range of hot/cold items.
