Bring your dust buster. Check it out before you commit. Cannot recommend it because of this. Bed is also squeaky, scrunchy and hard. Breakfast is ok. Not many choices. Go back to Seattle is a better idea.

I have stayed at the Anchorage Inn as often as I can because Dave and Diane are by far the best Host and Hostess I have ever seen. They were out of town when I stayed this time, but Linda was amazing and absolutely lovely. I had special dietary needs and she went out of her way to take care of me. The rooms are wonderful and comfortable, and the beds are heavenly to sleep in. The price was exceptional for how well I was taken care of.

Whenever we leave for a get away, we always feel comfortable with Lynda who has been with us for years. Her cookies are delicious and she's quite a housekeeper. We haven't met a restricted diet that's we can't deal with, if we've been given prior notice of our guests needs. Dave & Dianne and Lynda.

My wife and I stayed here on a perfect autumn day. The owners were out of town, but Linda was a fine hostess, friendly and made a great breakfast.

We were in room #1, which has a stellar view of Penn Cove and beyond.. The room had a nice TV/DVD/Video combo too, and we actually watched a movie that night from their large collection.

The room was large and well appointed, with a comfy bed. It had been awhile since we stayed in a B and B, even though we travel frequently. This reminds us what a fine option top flight B and Bs like this are for travelers.

This has to have the best view in Coupeville, and the community itself is the most appealing village on Whidbey Island. We'll be back, and I suggest you make this Inn a stop on your next Northwest journey.

Room Tip: Choose a room on an upper floor, for the view. Room 1, "Discovery", is an excellent optio...

We're glad your visit to Coupeville was so enjoyable. Although we were away for Thanksgiving we'll hopefully be home on your next visit. Discovery is the most popular room. Dave, Dianne and Lynda

Not only is Coupeville the gem of Whidbey Island, but our accommodation at the Anchorage Inn Bed & Breakfast was quiet, comfortable with water views. Due to a very early departure we were not able to enjoy the gourmet breakfast, however, our hosts had a carafe of fresh coffee and chocolate loaf with a "bon voyage" note, ready for us at 6:00 a.m.!!! Thats what I call exceptional customer service. We will definitely return to the Anchorage Inn, thank you Dave and Dianne :)

Room Tip: Raven Room while at the front of the house, was very quiet with very comfortable bed/linens. Lovely...

We looked for a place to stay after getting shut out of Olympic National Park by the government shutdown. A local tourism guide suggested another place nearby, but the reviews on TripAvisor weren't good. Anchorage Inn was at the top of the list for good reason - location, furnishings, breakfast and hosts - all top notch!

The rooms were nicely decorated and the bed was heavenly. Breakfast was yummy and both Dave and Diane were friendly and talkative! The cute waterfront is a short walk away with lots of interesting shops and great restaurants. Try the Penn Cove mussels grown locally.

We'd recommend this B&B to anyone!

My wife and I spent two nights at the Anchorage Inn September '13. Our room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was superb and our hosts were lovely. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that our needs were met. We recommend this B & B without reservation!

We found this delightful Bed & Breakfast just by accident. We were driving up the island and decided not to drive back to Seattle. We loved the outside of the B & B and they had a vacancy. We had a great view of the waterfront and it was only a couple of blocks to the main street and lots of quaint little shops. It is a small, quiet little town perfect for getting away from all the traffic & noise of the city. The gourmet breakfast the next morning couldn't have been better! The owners were away that night but Lynda did a wonderful job of making us feel right at home.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms have a view of the water, they are a little more but well worth it.

We innkeepers, were away on a short cruise and knew we were leaving the B&B in loving hands. Our 1st rate staff headed by Lynda have been with us for years and are great at meeting your needs and making you feel right at home.
