The little Beachcomber cottage was our home for a three day stay over the weekend and it was perfect. Wonderfully comfortable bed, lovely basket with snacks, coffee and tea to make as required and rockers on the porch. We were treated to a doe with two tiny fawns, numerous hummingbirds coming to sip nectar from all the beautiful flowers and even a bunny! The views, the location, the friendly hosts.....we had a 5 STAR stay. Do not hesitate to book the Beachcomber cottage. It's a gem.

Romantic, quaint beauty nestled in a cozy lovely town with a beautiful surrounding area. Dan is a well informed host that shared great tips on how to enjoy the town and outlying areas. The cottage we stayed in was well maintenanced, clean and charming. Our next stay in Coupeville, you bet will be at Garden Isle.

Room tip: Both Cottages Are Great!

We stayed on Whidbey Island for two nights for a friends wedding. While many of the accommodations on the island were bed and breakfast style, and a lot of the hotels were outdated, we were looking for something modern where we wouldn't have to share a bathroom. We stayed in the Beachcomber cottage and it was perfect. Very clean and comfortable with modern amenities, kitchenette, refrigerator, and use of the hot-tub. We saw deer around the cottage while we were there and it was like a home away from home. We arrived early so we called to see if it was possible to check in and they were very friendly and it was no problem. The location couldn't be better, walking distance to the top three rated restaurants on the island (per Tripadvisor) and the waterfront as well. We would recommend anybody to stay there.

Room tip: For couples the guest cottages are very similar in size. There is also a vacation home for larger families or a group of friends.

My husband and I stayed for 6 days in the Beachcomber Cottage just two blocks to the quaint waterfront hamlet of Coupeville was a sweet wonderful, very clean and well-appointed private cottage. The extra little things from the snacks waiting upon our arrival to the wonderful rocking chairs on the front deck and porch swing in the back yard made it very special. Dan couldn't have been a nicer, more attentive host and took care of our needs immediately. We had some trouble with the internet but Dan was great about troubleshooting and making sure our needs were taken care of. My only complaint is we had to leave... Thanks for making our stay so pleasant!

Room tip: Beachcomber is the largest and most private of the two cottages, though both are darling.

We have stayed here numeos times now and really feel we do not have to look further for a clean, quiet and peaceful place to stay. Very comfortable place to relax and enjoy downtime. It is also just a 3 minute walk from what is probably one of the best restaurants around, Christopher's.
