Two recommendations regarding the Green Curry coconut mussels were enough inspiration for us. The food and the atmosphere were excellent...but our romantic dinner was complete in less than an hour. I had no idea that the Front Street Grill was known as a fast food restaurant.

We were very pleased to find this open.... and filled with locals during an off-season Tuesday evening..... the food was very fine, the service excellent and the prices only what you'd hope to pay for good food in served in a comfortable setting.
This one's on our 'must visit again' list. A delightful experience on a cool winter's eve.

WE love the mussels in the green curry sauce. We have had multiple meals that we have enjoyed, but the green curry mussels, to us, are as good as it gets.

Dropped in for a meal and came back for more. Sat at the bar and chatted with the barman, picked his brain on local happenings and left feeling like we actually made a friend. The Penn Cove mussels and oysters we had were outstanding.

It's gluten-free friendly and everything gluten-free is marked on the menu, but the service is sorely lacking and the food is way overpriced. I had a small salad with a couple of ounces of tuna for $17 and hubby had a bowl of fettuccine with cream sauce, a few clams, a few mussels and a few small pieces of salmon for $25. One of our oysters was so chock full of shells that i had to go to the bathroom to rinse my mouth.

The staff was congregating in the bar and next to the cash register and being very loud. Our waitress was ok. One of the girls was sitting and working on something at the able right next to the door when we left but we never got a goodbye or thanks or acknowledgement of any sort.
