they have a lot of fun and interesting attractions. lots of history and they have videos. they also have a trolly ride up to where the wall of bones are and the kids can now touch some of the bones. i have a 4 year old and he LOVES it there. he has acutally been there twice since they re-opened and he wants to go again!

“So cool”
Reviewed July 7, 2012 via mobile

You won't see this anywhere else. See the fossils embedded in the stone wall. Amazing! Don't miss this!

“Very cool place in the middle of desolation”
Reviewed June 20, 2012

The park just reopened the Dinosaur Quarry after having it closed to completely renovate and basically rebuild it from the foundation up since it was built on betonite clay in 1958 (hey, they had no choice!). Amazing place! And it is a beautiful little section of painted geology in the middle of what is a flat, barren area except for the towns.

“Dinosaur Fossils”
Reviewed May 25, 2012

Amazing to look at and touch 140 million year old dinosaur fossils. The Quarry Exhibit Hall at Dinosaur National Monument is well worth the visit. Buy the small booklet for it at the Visitor Centre at the entrance to the monument so you can identify the bones you see at the exhiblt. Just be aware that Dinosaur National Monument is split into two different areas. The fossil exhibit is at the Jensen side of the monument not the Dinosaur side. There is also the one mile Fossil Discovery Trail that starts at the Visitor Centre and ends at the Quarry Exhibit Hall. A few fossils can be seen on this trail. if you wish as we did you can walk back down the road to the Visitor Centre, shorter return.
