Devils Tower KOA

Great campsite! We arrived late in the evening and the office was closed. However, we had made a reservation so they had our information tacked up on the side of the building. We chose a spot to set up the tent and were good to go! The sites are spacious and the whole campground is BEAUTIFUL!!! Red cliffs next to a river, scenic hills, and you're right at the base of Devil's Tower! Like other reviews I've read, make sure to bring extra blankets. It gets really cold at night!!! This is the place to camp if you're wanting some great views and fun camping!

The KOA is just outside the park and for under $10 you get hit water and a bit of civilization. No such amenities at the park. This was a great find and well worth the money. The people are friendly, the place is spotless and they love campers. Great place with fair prices to not smell like the devil!

Ideal location. This campground is decent, typical KOA. Good showers and washrooms. The camp store is small but has basic needs. The camp restaurant was clpsed so i can't vouch for it
Avoid the Burger joint at the Trading Post across the roadway.

My mother and I decided to get a cabin here for our trip to Devil's Tower. The "Kabin" was a cute little hut, very clean, but unheated and had no sheets or blankets. We weren't prepared for the cold nights (it was August). We froze our butts off.

Showers weren't much to look at, but there was plenty of hot water.

This KOA is in such a terrific location there just couldn't be anything wrong with it. Any inconvenience is far outweighed by the attraction here. Devils Tower holds court over this grassy campground beside a little river and red cliffs. We stayed in a kamping cabin on the river and loved it. The first night the KOA staff showed the famous sic-fi movie filmed at this location on an outdoor screen after dark. The moon was full and Devils Tower could easily be seen in the moonlight. The swimming pool was decent and much appreciated. Showers were plentiful and family friendly. The camp has grassy meadows to run and play and plenty of room for all types of camping vehicles or tents. Not far off the main highway, don't miss this place.

Beautiful location, clean facilities, nothing around for miles....but the only place to get food is in the lodge and it is incredibly over-priced. Pack the cooler before your visit. This location has near 0% light pollution so star-gazing is phenomenal. My wife and I stayed in one of the small cabins. The campground plays "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" on a projector outside. We had a great time!

It was a very nice location. The staff were helpful. We were told that the KOA was under new ownership and as the result the ATM machine was not in use because the new owner had not come to an agreement with the ATM company. The movie Close Encounters is played nightly in the dining room - Its a large room and although the tv is a big screen its really not big enough. There was supposed to be a viewing of the movie on the deck but the new owner has not repaired the projector. The sites are clean and the laundry facilities are clean. The pool looked cool and refreshing but its quite small. Theres a small post office on the grounds and that was nice. The desk staff are very friendly. The sites are lacking grass and or trees. Most items in the shop are over priced and lack variety.
