We stopped here on the way to our condo, since it didn't look too crowded, (Thursday night). It worked out really well, because we were seated immediately, then a huge stream of people began arriving. Many were getting takeout. The food was very good. Two of us had carne asada, and one had beef fajitas. The fajitas was more veggies than meat, so I recommend the carne asada, instead. Food was all good, and the Margaritas were too!
I will eat here again!

They had good choices of meat in their burrito. They had a very good menudo and it was just a great meal we had.

Only my second visit to a mexican restaurant. The staff were so very helpful on what each dish was, nice veggie food, great cocktails...shame we only visited on our last day.

We visited Mammoth over the holidays and were in the mood for Mexican food, so we paid a return visit to Roberto's. It was as good as we remembered it. We made a "preferred seating" which doesn't guarantee a table at the exact time, but basically let's the "no reservations" restaurant know you are coming at that hour. They allow for a few of those every evening. Call in advance to see if one is available because this is a popular spot. While waiting for our downstairs restaurant table, we went upstairs to the bar and shared a pitcher of house margaritas among us. Delicious! After we were seated for dinner, food came quickly and in large amounts. From the guacamole appetizers to our ginormous burritos and classic combination plates, the food was terrific and the atmosphere of the restaurant was loud and fun. Try the fish tacos. They were somewhat spicy, but really delicious. We'll be back on our next visit to Mammoth, guaranteed.

Our family went here because it was highly rated on Tripadvisor and we had not eaten here on previous visits. Well, we were seated right away upstairs, where there is a more lively atmosphere. The staff were attentive. The food was tasty, spicy (good), and plentiful. We had enough leftovers for another meal later in our trip. If your kids don't like spicy dishes, you should probably ask the waitress what dishes are appropriate. I had duck quesadilla, and it was tasty good. The margarita selection is varied and good, also. Would definitely go back again.
