We ate here as a family, its a simple place with a simple menu. But its does what it says on the tin, unlike many of expensive places in Mammoth which were very poor in comparison. Really enjoyed the wings, steak sandwich and beer !! .. great atmosphere.

One evening a friend & I had taken our dogs for a long hike and did not arrive back into Mammoth before 10PM. Having decided to get a bite to eat together drove around to various spots and learned that "John's Pizza" is open. We both had a cocktail, "Give the bartender credit my head had a bit of a swirl." (Could have been due to dehydration from long hike.) The service is simple, but everyone is super nice. Not my favorite spot in Mammoth, but if I have been out hiking and want a comfortable spot to relax late in the evening I will go to John's.

If John’s is the best pizza in Mammoth then I recommend you don’t eat pizza. I picked up a pizza and breadsticks to go and they were OK at best. Pizza crust looked and tasted like a frozen pre-made crust. The pizza was also expensive for what you got which is OK if it's good. I will not go back.

They have a nice Happy Hour. Great food! Try their Bloodymary Martini, yummy. It gets crowded so get there early.

We enjoy dropping in when it's not busy. Good pizza and full bar available. Lots of TV sports. Sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Bike racks available.
