No corkage fee, fun outside setting with flames and heating...gormet food, interesting choices, all good, fresh and nice presentation. Priced reasonable for what you get. Went twice, 4 dinners no dissappointments.

“Great food, good portions, reasonable prices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

We had a great dinner at Toomey's and returned the next morning for breakfast. You get a lot of food for the money, and it is a quality meal. The setting is casual, but some of the plates are one's you'd expect to find at a more upscale restaurant.

The staff was really friendly, particularly the owner, who was out and about chatting with guests both times we were there. They make you feel at home, even if you're just visiting. Nice to see and not always easy to find in towns with lots of tourists.

I'd recommend the meatloaf for dinner and the french toast for breakfast!

“Food is delicious.”

After reading the reviews on trip advisor we decided to try Toomey's for dinner. No complaints ! We sat outside at the fire table. I ordered the buffalo meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Yummy! My boyfriend had the jambalaya. He loved it! The banana fosters for dessert is to die for!

“I wouldn't return”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2013

I missed having mushroom soup across the street at Petra's the night before, so I ordered mushroom soup at Toomey's because it was on their "specials" board. It tasted okay. But as it cooled, pools of butter separated and formed puddles on the surface of the soup - kinda creeped me out! We also had an appetizer with hummus and that was okay, but nothing to write home about. The coffee was awful - weak and no flavor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is a bit lacking - it's more like a sports bar than a fine restaurant, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a "nice" dinner. The hotel recommended this place, but it's nothing fabulous. If you're looking for something nicer or a late night dinner, I'd catch Petra's across the street or Campo's at the Village. This is more like a watering hole for locals.

Casual yummy with an attentive young cute staff! I had the meatloaf which was STELLAR and my guy had fish tacos that came with the most delicious puréed black beans with a secret recipe sourcreamyyogurty spicy sauce.
