We went to the restaurant twice during our visit to Mammoth. The first time they had a large party, and it took an hour from when we were seated (45 minutes from when the order was taken) to get our sushi. The waiter, who saw that we were hungry, asked if we'd like an order of edamame. We did, and were charged $6 for it (even though the manager came by at some point to explain the long wait and semi-apologize).
During our second visit the restaurant was almost empty, and service was excellent. I had sushi both times. Pricy (above high-end L.A. restaurants) but good.
