Room had everything we could possibly need for a 4-day stay. Conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, trolley and Alano Club. Pool, BBQ area and game room very well kept. Also outdoor big screen nighttime family movies with plush seating for entire family.

Room Tip: Handicap amenities with roll-in shower, too! Great stay.

The pictures do not do this place justice! Our 1 bedroom unit was very clean, equipped with modern kitchen, and nice decor. Bed was comfortable. The "village" surrounding had many restaurants to choose from and ample activities for our teenagers. We visited in summer. would love to return for ski season.

Room Tip: We stayed in Lincoln House.

The Suites are small and no AC, the staff was excellent and helpful. You can certainly use the village and all its restaurants, with out staying here.
The pool was crowded with people from all over Mammoth Lakes, everyone seems to know that they don't check to see when is actually using the pool. The restaurant employees party from closing until about 200am on the plaza so it would actually be better to request a room facing the street.

Thank you for reviewing your stay at the Village Lodge. We are always looking at ways that we can improve our guest’s experience. Our security team has been informed to keep a more observant eye on our pool area just in case the crowding is due to pool crashers and not because of high occupancy. Thank you again for your valuable feedback that allows us to create better experiences at the Village Lodge. We hope you return again soon. Have a great summer!

We visited here from Las Vegas via Death Valley. We booked 2 separate rooms and both had a bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom - ie a condo with free WifI. There was plenty of space and plenty of dishes in the kitchen - as well as a dishwasher. We were only at the hotel for 1 night but really enjoyed the Village and the happy hour drinks available at one of the restaurants. We had a meal at another restaurant and really liked the atmosphere in the village. Coffee and breakfast was purchased easily at one of the nearby outlets. The boys decided to cycle from the top of Mammoth mountain in the morning and thankfully The Village Lodge extended our checkout time which was really helpful. The reception desk staff were keen to answer all our questions. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of accommodation at Mammoth - the only minor challenge was the noise of the air conditioning fan but we really needed this as we were staying during a heatwave. I would love to come back to the Village Lodge. Please be aware that when arriving and checking in - it is confusing as the building does not say The Village Lodge but says Sierra.

Having travelled all the way from Vegas through Death Valley it was fantastic to arrive Mammoth Lakes. From 120 degress to 85 is a NICE change!!

This hotel is situated around a square with a choice of a few restaurants and bars. Very scenic and cosy! It felt great to escape the buzz of Vegas and head up into the mountains.

Very nice surroundings as well - would love to come back during winter to ski here!

The rooms were spacious and nice. The only thing we disliked was a large aircondition-unit placed in the livingroom that made a lot of noise. Our two daughters were to sleep in there, and that did not work out very well.

We used the pool area and spent the day there. Also very nice! There were even Weber barbecues that the guest could use free of charge. Excellent!

Would definately come back!

We stayed her two nights, we were photographing a wedding at Convict Lake and the bride made these reservations for us. We were presently surprised. The room was very nice, this was a condo room with a full kitchen, stove, dishwasher and small refrigerator. Plenty of room and a couch, chairs, dining table. It would have made a nice place to stay a few days. Lots of places to eat withen walking distance. Good security.

A few negatives, the high speed Internet is a misnomer, there is an Internet connection but it is not high speed. My wife had to do a test for her Internet class and had to go to the lobby and use one of there computers, in our room the connection contuned to stall and cut out.

There was a lot of light coming into the room in the morning, making it hard to sleep, and they had a Starbucks room-service, just fill out the card and leave it on your door by midnight and it would be there in the morning at the time you wanted it. We did, it didn't. Not sure if theis was a Starbucks deal or not and to tell you the truth it was easy to just go get it as Starbucks is close by.

All in all, a good stay.

- beautiful room
- nice staff
- good location

We will definitely stay here again when in the area! Only thing we were missing: there should be more restaurants near the hotel, we found only two of them.

Thank you for reviewing the Village Lodge. I am sorry that you didn’t see more than two restaurants as there are over 13 places to eat at the Village. Next time you join us ask our friendly staff to point out all of the great restaurants located in the Village!
