Head to the deli in the back of the bakery for a delicious sandwich. Fresh sliced meats ( but they were out of roast beef, and this was several hours before closing) on your choice of bread. I opted for the ciabatta roll with turkey, and it was delicious. The sandwich, which included a pickle and cookie, was $9.95 - a bit pricey for a sandwich, and then the slice of cheese was an additional dollar. Not a great deal, but it was yummy, and it IS a resort town! I went back the next day to get some fresh loaves of bread - again, pricey - $8 a loaf - but you MUST get bread from Schat's when you're in the area. For some reason, I got there when it wasn't busy (!), and was so glad I did, because the crowd outside and the cars trying to get to, the store in Bishop was ridiculous!!
