Just missing an Excellent grade, I had a very enjoyable meal with good wine but rather obsequious service. Sometimes you just want to be left alone. I alm also especially pee'ed off when waiters remove plates from the table while others are still eating. I know this is common in the US but the better restaurants wait until all parties' are finished before clearing the table. Bit of a wait for a table even though we had a reservation but I have to say that the food was excellent.

My wife and I have enjoyed great lunches here over the years and thought we'd try dinner. What a good call!

Staff: The staff is consistently welcoming, friendly and informative. This particular night we had Michelle as our sever and we loved her.

Decor: Tastefully decorated with modern accents like glass beads and creative lighting. The walls host a variety of paintings from local artists which are available for purchase. These have varied each time we visited. It kind of changes the vibe slightly each time we go.

Food: The menu always has something unique available but also offers traditional fare as well. No matter what we've ordered, we've always been impressed. The crab asparagus bisque is always a favorite warm up of ours. Our dinner choices were Szechuan Duck and Lamb Shank in merlot sauce. Just delicious. The starch and vegetables were seasoned to compliment the dish. Dessert was a decadent cheese cake. I'm actually getting hungry again just writing this.

Drinks: If you enjoy a glass of wine with dinner, there are some nice options here. We enjoy the Super Tuscan and the Kim Crawford Sav Blanc. Many people were enjoying a list of creative martinis if you prefer a stronger cocktail.

Overall: You cannot go wrong with the Apollo for the value, atmosphere, and tastes you will enjoy - right here in the Lehigh Valley. Highly recommended!

From the moment we walked in, the place did not disappoint. Humorous, thoughtful and engaging interaction with the wait staff and management served to compliment the delicious and perfectly prepared meals.
We were a group of four and each of us could not stop raving about our meals: veal chop, pork Mignon and chicken ravioli... fantastic! One of the members of our group could not decide between the veal chop and the scallops. When we asked the staff for their opinion, the group was decided equally between the two entrees. When our friend finally decided on the veal chop, the chef and owner was nice enough to send out a sample plate of scallops which were to die for! Definitely can't go wrong with either entree.
Favorite drink and dessert of the night, basil cucumber martini (vodka or gin based) / creme brulee both were delicious.
Everyone was beyond attentive, helpful and engaging.
No doubt we will be returning to Apollo...looking forward to our next visit.
