Our flight was delayed by weather and we flew on a holiday. However, we located a warm and inviting restaurant one block from our hotel.

Upon entering we received a pleasant and cordial greeting from the hostess. We were seated by a fabulous display of wines. Felt as though, I was in Europe. Nice and casual and appears to be a local favorite.

The last time I saw a menu selection this vast, was when we were in Sydney, Austrilia. Our waitress, Rachel, knows her menu well and gave us outstanding recommendations. Since it was late and we had to get up early the next morning, we wanted to eat a light dinner. We had the following tapas:
Tortilla Espanola = Spanish omlette wit potato and onion
Mejillones con Chorizo = Steamed mussels with chorizo and french fries
Setas at Ajo = Wild mushrooms with garlic and olive oil
Calamares Fritos = Fried Calamari om smokded tomato sauce

Did I say light? The plates were tastefully done by a chef who cares for the food and customers. The portions were good for 2-3 people. All the food had big and bold flavors. Our favorites were the Setas at Ajo ( Wild mushrooms with garlic and olive oil) and the Mejillones con Chorizo (Steamed mussels with chorizo and french fries).

Now, if you thought we had dessert, you would be mistaken. It was a wonder we were able to walk out of the restaurant. This is the way everyone should feel. Happy and fulfilled with excellent food.

I would return and I would invite my travel friends to eat here, as well. Andrew Zimmern would be pleased.

This place is expensive - you know, so be warned.

The food was good, and the serving sizes were small, but with a shared appetizer, it was just right. Along with the "no rush" attitude of our great waitress, we were able to sit and enjoy the drinks we ordered even after our food was done and our bill paid.

The dessert we ordered, the flan, was delicious, but it was also not really worth the cost for the amount brought out. I'm not going to complain too much, because taken all-in-all, the whole meal was just right for us. Do it right and ask the waitress's advice on what to order and how.

Tapas on Main has a really great menu, and the quality is always top notch! The cocktail are always consistent and very good. Service is generally pretty good, though they do seem to have periods where it is not quite up to par. This is a great destination in downtown bethlehem that is truly unique.

We have eaten at this place many times and have always enjoyed our time and the food. There drinks are tasty and special. The various tapas dishes are always different and mouth watering. We love the cheese and meat combos tapas. Sitting inside or out is always pleasant.

Group of four stopped in for the first time last night to enjoy a late season opportunity to sit out on the main street of Bethlehem. Our server had an air of superiority to a degree of annoyance. It didn't help that he pushed courses we had not intended to order and continually pushed our shareable plate choices toward the more expensive. If the food had been outstanding, some of this could be accepted, but with the single exception of the yellowfin tuna (outstanding), there was nothing to warrant the prices or attitude. In particular, we found most of the items we selected to have a high level of salt ... something we find very rarely anymore at other restaurants. What is it they're hiding? Overall, we see no reason to return, indoors or out.
