The whole experience was poor. Service was slow and there was a employee meeting near by that was loud. The food was expensive and subpar. Four of us were out for dinner and not one enjoyed there meal. We have not gone back.

“service good, food poor”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We live not too far from the restaurant and since most of our favorite places were closed Sunday night we decided to try Emeril's Italian Table. The ambiance seemed cold the lighting too bright. My wife had a pizza and was disappointed. I had chicken salimbucca(sp?), dry and pretty tasteless. My son and his wife had pasta dishes that were fair. The wine list was short. Salads and appetizers were the strong point. I was hoping for better considering Emeril's reputation. We will not be going back.

“Good and resonable”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

My wife and I only ate here once but this will be our go-to Italian restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. We both had Pasta, Lasagna and Bolognese. They both were delicious and not prepared in the usual boring manner. The coffee here is excellent, a true Italian coffee, they use one of the better coffees but I can't remember the name. Atmosphere and service was very good. It was nice to eat a delicious meal and not get soaked on price.

“Nothing Special”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

The restaurant in nicely situated in the Sands. It has a pleasant atmosphere. We were curious as to the influence of Emeril and were hoping for a good meal. The service was friendly although we weren't seated until 15 minutes after our reservation. There was a small selection of wines, but they were well thought out and decently priced. The bread was very crusty and the butter was warm.

The problem was the food. It sounded good on the menu, but it was pretty bland on the plate. There was nothing bad, but nothing good, nothing memorable. The portions were fine. It was a step up from the Olive Grove and a step down from a good Italian restaurant.

What left a proverbial bad taste in my mouth was when our waitress asked us if we would like capucino, we said yes. The two coffees tasted like they came out of a vending machine and totalled $13. $6.50 is a lot to pay for a bad cup of coffee.

“Great find, great meatballs”
Reviewed October 7, 2013 via mobile

Not only was our meal marvelous, the wine list included a special blend from one of our favorite winemakers - Jim Clendenen. Bonus! We were dining late on a Friday (8:30 p.m.) and the restaurant was closing off many areas, prompting them to seat us in a high-traffic area. We opted to sit at the mid-restaurant bar where we watched the antipasto assembly -- a much better option.
