My husband and I spent one night in Bethlehem as part of our pilgrimage to the Martin Guitar Factory in Nazareth. We decided to celebrate his birthday at one of the restaurants in downtown Bethlehem. We walked by Mama Nina's and noticed the restaurant was packed with people and the hostess was graciously welcoming people with a big smile. We were seated immediately and brought a plate of garlic bread and a complimentary glass of wine (you can't buy alcohol here - it's BYOB). We each ordered a dinner special - MD crab ravioli and Lobster ravioli. Our meals were delicious - the sauces were infused with additional seafood - shrimp, scallops and crab meat. The portions were very large and well worth the price. At the end of the meal, Mama Nina and her staff brought my husband a cannoli for dessert and sang happy birthday to him. We were very pleased with the service, atmosphere and the food. As we were walking out, Nina gave us a hug and thanked us. We would definitely visit this restaurant again on our next trip to the area!

Can't see how anyone can't give this place a better than average review. Raised in an all Italian family - the food served at Mama Nina's would definitely pass around our neighborhood. Great tasting gravy (sauce) - and not out of the can as one reviewer had said - don't know where that person was coming from on that one? Sure the wait was long for both a seating and for our food but the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the garlic rolls were what made the wait for the main meal well worth it. And the meal stays right up there with the best of the Italian eateries in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. Will definitely visit this fine establishment again and again.
