This hotel is very acccessible from the interstate and easy to find. The hotel is in need of an update. The room was in need of new paint and some of the furnishings were a little dated. The room was clean. If you stay there, be sure to request a room on the interior of the hotel complex. I was on an outside room and you could hear noise from the nearby interestate. The breakfast had a good selection and the food quality was good. The staff was friendly.

I would stay there again, but it would not be my first choice.

Each of the 3 times we have stayed here has yielded the same results- inconsistency. This time, specifically, the room we reserved was considerably smaller than the last 2 times, though it was labeled "1 bedroom". The hall carpets were worn and not gleaming, the top of our refrigerator had dirt and dried leaves on it, we had to go to the front desk for a sheet for the sofa bed... Despite being Marriott rewards members with requests on file, none of the requests was fulfilled.
One the other hand, we were greeted in a friendley manner, breakfast was adequate, the pool looked nice and the bathroom was clean.

I've come to like Residence Inns, but this one needs a rehab. No wireless, no flat screen TVs. Furniture is beat, bathrooms are looking bad - wallpaper coming off walls, corroded fixtures. Kitchen was missing glasses and other things. Worst thing is the musty smell covered up with some awful fruity cleaner.

Beds were reasonably comfortable and staff was good.

Breakfast was not so great and very overcrowded on a Sat am. Full breakfast buffets at hotels range all over the place - this one was cold congealed eggs and tasteless biscuits and sausage.

$180 plus a lot of tax for a 2 BR suite on an Aug weekend.

After staying at the Residence Inn in Florence, SC the night before, this hotel was pretty marginal. The key did not operate the outside door because the mechanism is exposed to the rain. The nice (Russian?) clerk gave us another key card, but that didn't work either. A hotel guest showed us the trick of runing it in and out about a dozen times quickly. The room seemed damp. The hallway was battered and walls scraped. Parking near our room was unavailable. Busy highway less than 100 yards from door. Breakfast was a mess -- cereal and milk everywhere AND out of coffee! Looked like a 20-cup urn and the place was packed. Dog fee $75. Lower than the standard $100.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my daughter's sports team for an area tournament. Upon arrival, check in was quick and front desk was pleasant and helpful. Lobby/lounge area was small. Had approximately 10-12 small tables for breakfast and couches, chairs for watching a large screen TV. There was no business center, but rather a computer set up in the corner of the lobby that you needed to stand at in order to use - there was a printer. The excercise room, which we did not use, was small with but seemed to be clean. The pool was outdoors and was clean with many chairs and always clean towels to use. There was also a basketball court and a grilling area. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and had all the amenities that we would expect from a Residence Inn - a full kitchen 2 bedrooms/2 baths and a living area with pull out couch and chair. The kitchen was fully equiped with a full refrigerator (with ice maker), dishwasher and stove, silverware and dishes for 4 people, pots and pans and various other kitchen utensils. TV's in all 3 rooms. One of the bedrooms had a desk area with internet hookup. This sounds silly - but it's a feature I cannot understand why every hotel does not have -bathrooms with fans!!! The newer hotels seem to be built without them and it seems odd. There was a queen bed in each bedroom and a full pull out couch. Beds were comfortable but the mattresses were not plush.

The only negative I could say about the hotel is that it is in need of updates. The wallpaper and carpeting were dated. The furnishing in the rooms had been around for awhile and were starting to show some wear. This is a busy hotel on the weekends with many families and sports teams but I definitely would recommend it. One other point - this hotel allows dogs and there were many there, but the grounds were clean and we were not bothered at all.

There is a lot to do in the area. Dorney Amusement/Water Park was a short drive away. There was a good size mall down Rt. 22 and several smaller shopping plazas as well. There was a great selection of restaurants, many that deliver within a short distance of the hotel. There is an airport a very short distance away.

This is a pretty good hotel, but you can find better in this area. I booked it last minute because it was the only seemingly good hotel available at my company's allowable reimbursement rate. I've stayed in better Residence Inns. It's a clean hotel with friendly staff, but my room could have used an update. The rooms have free internet, but it's not wireless. You have to go to the lobby area to use wireless, which I found to be annoying because I like to use my laptop away from the desk in the room. I was able to pick up on the lobby internet from my room sometimes, but not always. I also found the wired inrernet to be a bit slow. The couch in my room looked a little on the old side and the TVs were the big, boxy ones. My bathroom and kitchen were both very clean. The bed looked older and didn't look like it would be comfortable, but it actually was. There is a basketball court, which is cool. There are also enough restsurants in the area. Overall I would stay here again if my other choices were booked, but I prefer the Homewood Suites and Holiday Inn Express nearby over this hotel.
