My husband and i took our daughter and her friend to Bushkill Falls. We had such a nice time. There is a lot to keep you busy for the day. It is an inexpensive day trip. You can pack a lunch and picnic or eat at their facilities. The food consists of burgers, pizza, hot dogs and chicken fingers. They also have ice cream for the really warm days of summer. They have 3 or 4 different hiking trails. They range from easy to difficult. They provide a map for the falls and the signage to follow is well displayed. After the hike/self guided tour, you can visit the native american museum, play minature golf, ride the paddle boats (FISHING I THINK) and lastly pick yourself up a souvenir from the gift shop.Everyone there is so friendly and informative. It really is an amazing experience, something for everyone.

I took my family to the falls with the intention of getting some great photographs of the myriad of different types of waterfalls, clean fresh air and a day out of the house. What I came upon was a tremendous natural preserve where the spectacles of the waterfalls were just a bonus to the great nature. If you are going to do the falls, you must be prepared to do a little hiking. The trails are sometimes very steep and might prove taxing for those out of shape. My only disappointment was that I went near the end of a water drought in the Pocono's. Because of the drought the falls were not as lively as they normally are. I would not hesitate to do this again even if its just to catch the falls in their full glory

If you want a beautiful place to hike, picnic, and enjoy nature in NE PA, this is a perfect place. We immensely enjoyed the Native American museum where they have life-sized displays of what the skinned house would look like along with vintage indian garb, native animals, and tools. There are gift shops mostly for kids, although there are your standard "I visited Bushkill Falls" memorabilia. The real draw here are the trails and the falls. The hiking ranges from hrs and medium strenuous to short and easy. There is a trail head right beside the big falls, so if you just want to skip to the end, that's an option. Photographers! If you want to shoot in almost every light condition, this is a great place. The sun dances off the trees and the water differently every hour and you could shoot the same picture each hour and get a different look every time. Also many spots for cool nature photos with trickling steams, trees hanging out over the water, and of course the falls. You would have to dislike the outdoors to not enjoy this place. Do it! You'll be happy you did.

This is an absolutely beautiful attraction. Its carved out through the falls and the woods and gives you the feel that you're walking through something so natural and old. Be careful though....some of the bridges are very slippery.
